Follow in the footsteps of Old Tom Morris, the course designer and first ‘keeper of the greens’ as you play the Prestwick the Host course of the first Open Championship Golf in 1860. During those first 12 Years Old Tom won the Championship Belt 4 Times as Did young Tom his son whose Championships were consecutive.
Next it’s time for the Superb Dundonald Links which hosted the European Tours 2017 Scottish Open. Dundonald is known for providing a wonderful golf experience from the very second you arrive to a warm welcome at the front Gates. Another Gem is Western Gailes which is recognised as the 3rd best course in Ayrshire. Get ready for a great test of golf on this acclaimed course where you will need every club in your bag.
After a warm-up Round at Troon Portland, you’ll be ready for the magnificent Royal Troon which has just been announced as the host Course for the 2024 Open Championship. Royal Troon is home to both the longest and shortest holes in Open Championship golf. Regarded as one of the top holes in the world, the par-3 8th hole (“Postage Stamp”) has a tiny green. The 11th hole (“The Railway”) is one of the most difficult holes in major championship golf.
Next, it’s time to head for the magnificent Turnberry Ailsa course arguably the most stunning course in all of Scotland. You’ll stay in the Historic 5 Star Hotel which overlooks the course where you are sure to experience world-class Scottish Hospitality
